What are wisdom teeth Wisdom teeth are the last 4 teeth in each side of the upper and lower jaw. They usually erupt between 17 to late 20s. Wisdom teeth often come out with pain and uneasiness as they don’t always have sufficient place in the mouth. More often than not they come out at an un-favorable angulation causing trouble to the other teeth. The patient has pain in the jaw, sometimes radiating to the head and neck .Other symptoms are swelling in the gums, not able to chew properly or open the mouth.Then visiting the dentist and removing the teeth is the only option.
