             Saliva  is a fluid produced and secreted by salivary glands in the mouth. In humans,  saliva  is 99.5 % water plus electrolytes, mucus, white blood cells, epithelial cells, enzymes, antimicrobial agents such as secretory IgA, and lyzozomes.                  1.   When you are nervous or frightened, saliva production is reduced.              Suck on sugar-free hard candies, ice chips, or sugar-free popsicles. There is a correct way to brush your teeth, and this is what it looks like. 1. Place the toothbrush against your teeth without putting too much pressure. Brushing too hard can wear down your enamel and hurt your gums. 2. Sweep the toothbrush gently tooth by tooth. Spend few seconds on each tooth and remember to cover all outer, inner and chewing surfaces!  3. Apply only a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
